A:Answer Yes (I use a 2.5" SSD in my desktop as well). It's a standard SATA connector and power connection. However, you'll need to use an adapter kit (probably) to mount the 2.5" disk in a 3.5" HDD bay in your desktop. Some desktops do come with a bay for a 2.5" drive, though, so you'll need to check if you need the adapter or not.
