• If it a Sata interface and 7mm in height, but no bigger than 9mm. Search online for Sata port and compare with your old hard drive port.

• Yes if: your old HD is SATA and not IDE Operating system W7 or newer You know how to clone old drive to new drive You know how to open Compaq to install new SSD
