A:Answer The SanDisk Ultra cards I have seen are a Class 10, while the regular ones are usually Class 4. That means the ultra card is faster. This would be important if you were shooting, for example, an auto race where you are taking a lot of photos, very very fast, and shooting in RAW mode.
In reality, 99 percent of the time I doubt you would notice the difference between the two cards except in price.
If you are doing video, the class 10 would be better. But for DSLR coverage, a class 4 or 6 card should do just fine unless you are shooting cheetah races!
