• It is a USB 3.0 drive with a connector which can use an regular USB port and connects to the drive with mini-USB like on a phone.

• USB 3 on device and cable on one end. Standard USB other end other end of cable. I bought it to put my work files on for music production. One month owner and no disappointments. Seems snappy enough.
