A:Answer Yes, although I wouldn't prefer it for this manner. Using a micro sd card with the adapter will slow down the process of recoding images directly to the card. Try getting a card that says something along the lines of "Class 10" or "MB/s" and make sure it's NOT a micro SD card, just a standard SD card. The higher the MB/s the faster your camera can upload to it and the quicker you can take images. You wont have to wait 3 seconds for the image to record to the card with faster speeds!
