“how accessable is the FD for apps? Im trying to use a fd as a multi-platform key to secure my sensitive data. Nearly finished for the PC but need to learn about how mobile devices. treat apps and data with regards to ext drives. Questions: Can apps be installed on the FD and accessed from the mobile iDevice when its plugged in? If not Can apps Installed on the iDevice access data files directly on the FD without using the local HD? If so How are the paths to those files stored? How secure Is that information? FD Encryption? How about when the the apps is loaded? Any way to access it such as creating a dump file?”

I've been using Microsoft 365 - amazing storage and easy to transfer from one device to another but having SD will always be the safe way to keep info - I haven't used SD for saving apps or app info - I didn't know if it's possible -
