Although the unit is unibody you can access the RAM and HDD by removing the battery (you can use a coin to turn the release clip). Be sure you have a Time Machine backup of all of your files so you will be back up and running quickly.

According to everymac.com (I recommend this site for detailed info for every Mac model), 2010 models also utilize SATA drives (Serial ATA), so should work for you as well.
