Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on if your old Laptop hard drive is also a SATA Drive... May need to check online to see the specifications for your laptop and then search for the same size and type interface for your machine. Note: Older operating systems and devices may not work with SSD drives. As part of your research check online for your specific laptop model, operating system and whether a SSD drive is compatible. Some manufacturers will answer this question free of charge if they think you will buy the SSD drive from them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless it is a motherboard issue, this should allow you to reinstall the OS and not have to worry about hard drive failure due to movement also. Plus it is much faster than a regular hard drive booting and running programs. Installing takes a bit longer however.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but it would be an empty drive, unless you have a backed up drive. You would need an OS, you might be able to get a recovery disk from the manufacturer
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes for sure but you need to install OS yourself...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! I had my small boot drive replaced with this SSD before mine died just because I wanted more storage space on my desk top computer. Geek Squad cloned my boot drive and put it on the SSD. It did speed up the boot process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can. But it depends on how old your pc is. And if it is worth to you to upgrade.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the only issue you have is with the current drive.. then, yes, you can replace just the drive and not the entire computer. You would need to completely reinstall all the software you have including the operating system. Check around to various computer shops for pricing for this service since it can vary widely from place to place.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can; however, you will need either a Mac or Windows disc to install the operating system. Just depends on which operating system you have, you'll need to get a hold of the disc to do a fresh install. Not to mention you may end up having to purchase a new product key for the software in order to run it after install.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Just make sure you can buy a copy of windows as well from the store or take it to a local repair shop with the SSD in hand. Otherwise they'll overcharge you.
