You will have to format the SSD. Right click the Windows 10 start icon and select Disk Management.

Please try again later.hope you were able to resolve your issue. most times a new hard drive or solid state drive needs to be formatted so the windows operating system can recognize it. you will need to right-click on the my Computer icon and select Manage - select the disk management - look for the new device in the list of drives - right-click on the drive and select format. - once completed, windows should recognize the drive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The SSD should be recognized as long as the SATA cable is connected and power is supplied from SATA power cables off of the power supply. The data cable that you purchased would not supply power for the drive. If both are connected, you would want to try a different SATA port on the motherboard and/or power plug from power supply to make sure those are working correctly.
