• Yes. Works great. Just make sure you have a SAT interface and an appropriate means of mounting a 2.5 inch drive. Most computers today should have no problem but you shold check. Same as any current SATA 3.5 inch desktop drive, just smaller.

• Yes. I installed it as my primary drive on an older Dell PC and it works like a charm.

• Yes it will. Both laptop and desktop drives have the same connection. SSDs are nice because they have no moving parts so you can mount them anywhere. If your case doesn't have a spot for a 2.5 inch drive you can double sided tape the drive somewhere in the case. Only do this with SSD and not mechanical drives though.
