• Short answer yes. But your phone must be OTG. You can check your phones manufacturer website and see if your model supports OTG. Most newer phones are capable. Given that the G-Drive is also powered by its own power supply, it allows you to use a higher capacity HDD like 6TB. Your phone alone wouldn’t be able to power the drive without the included power supply.
