“Is the battery replaceable? I have been told that when the rechargeable battery wears out, it cannot be replaced, so you have to buy a new unit. Can someone confirm this please.”

• This is true, and the best way to avoid this is purchasing a warranty on the unit so it can be replaced if this occurs.

• The Sansa Clip + uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery that is non-replaceable. This battery will retain at least 80% of its capacity after 400 charge/discharge cycles. A properly maintained battery is used regularly and kept out of extreme heat or extreme cold.
