Q: QuestionSomeone posted on the review for this flash drive that it's safer than a external hard drive. How is that? I've never heard that comment about a flash drive versus hard drive.

• A:Answer All hard drives (including external) have moving parts Flash drives on the other hand don't. If any of the moving parts fail the hard drive turns into a paper weight and you lose your data. This is more likely to happen with external hard drives because they get moved around. Think about like using a old portable cd player. If you moved the the player while in use you could end up damaging the the disc: then you could no longer use it. If you shake it the music would skip. Now think about listening to music from your phone. Your cell phone uses flash memory just like this "flash drive" If you started flipping your phone around nothing gets damaged (unless you drop it lol) and the music does not skip. So flash memory including this "flash drive" are safer because they are less prone to failure. at lease that's my opinion.

• A:Answer In regards to how many photos you can store on this flash drive the answer is it depends on how big each picture is in size(mega bites). If they are pictures from your phone you can store a lot of them. How many is unknown. If they are pictures in raw format from a canon, nikon, sony etc. camera it also depends, but it would be a lot less pictures than pictures from your phone. In regards if the flash drive can be use in another PC if the PC crashes the answer is yes. That's one of the purposes of having flash drives, portability and be able to use in multiple devices. Usually the flash drives are also pretty reliable you wont loose data with time and last longer than a hard drives. But that doesn't mean that they never fail. If the pictures are really important to you I'll keep 2 back ups of them.

Q: QuestionI am trying to transfer some large mpg files to this flash drive. Some files won't transfer because they are"Too large for the destination file system". (eg. a 4.70 GB file) Is there a file size limit that this flash drive will support?

• A:Answer Fat32 file systems have a single file size limit of 4 Gbs. The flash drive I received was formatted in Fat32. If you want to put a file on there that is bigger than 4 Gbs, you can change the file format for the flash drive to exFAT or NTFS.

Q: QuestionI bought this item a few days ago and now that I have opened the package the actual flash drive is a 128GB, how is this possible? A manufacturing error? I am now outside of the US. I also bought a 128GB, am glad that did not turn out to be 64GB ;-).
