• I dont think this will work for apple. Make sure it says for apple. Then the type c is the newest type of charger for androids and I dont think apple uses that type of connection. I wouldnt get this for an apple before checking all those things

• I don't know if it's a necessity but the drive comes pre-loaded with the Sandisk memory zone apk which is very easy to install and navigate. Well worth getting to go hand in hand.
