- Answer My daughter had used this on her own laptop, the computers at the library and the professor’s computers when turning in specific assignments. She said she has had no issues. That is the main reason why I purchased it because she needed her work to go on the flash drive versus her computer since one was down at school. She did not feel comfortable allowing anyone access her own computer with their flash drive to get her work. This flash drive was an awesome purchase for my daughter who has to utilize multiple devices while enrolled in college. I highly recommend this!

- Answer No. You would need a USB port to plug this into. If that were available, you could unload files from the SD card to this but they would no longer be available online. You just need a bigger SD card.

- Answer Did you order a USB type C connector? IT WON'T fit the older type A connector. (The C type is OVAL. The A type is a rectangle)

- Answer Please allow me to inform you that the SanDisk® Ultra USB 3.0 512GB USB Drive is not compatible with Apple iPhones. However, we manufacture separate drives for iOS devices i.e iXpand Flash Drive which comes with USB 3.0 at one end and lightning connector at the other end. Our Drives comes with an optional folder-level encryption software which is not mandatory to use. You can remove the software and use it.

However, please be informed that it will not lock the whole USB Drive as it will create a password protected vault inside the USB Drive wherein you can transfer the files that you want to lock. For example, if your photos are 1MB each (like medium-quality JPEGs), you could store about 250 photos. If they're high-resolution or uncompressed, you might only fit around 10 to 20 photos.

- Answer Hi, please be informed that all the USB Drives of 64GB capacity and above are pre-formatted in the exFAT File System. However, the USB Drives can be manually formatted in the FAT32 File System using some 3rd party software. If you wish to format this USB Drive in the FAT32 File System, it would be best to contact the manufacturer of your computer.
