You might want to try the iXpand from SanDisk. It is made for Apple devices. Easy to transfer files and photos from Apple devices to IXpand drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just incase there is anyone out there that has an iPhone 5 or newer ( I now have a collection 4,5, and now 6+ the SanDisk Ultra Dual 32GB, 64GB made for the iPhone doesn't seem to work either even after downloading the app from the app store and carefully following the directions. When it asks you permission to access your camera roll, I agreed and so on and so forth. When you go to your camera roll or albums heres the issue, it says "0" next to every album like the pics are not on the phone. I did some thinking and went back to the drawing board and from what I can see is that the iPhones DO NOT have enough power output to power up any thumb drive. Its like using a 2.5" hard drive and externally mounting it to your computer via Sata to USB, that will work. However if you use a 3.5" hard drive you will need a 5v power adaptor I'm assuming 1500mAh to 2000mAh or you could say 1.5 Amp to 2 Amps to power the drive so it will mount on the desk top. So in essence, the theory is the same, the iPhone just doesn't have the steam even though its a small thumb drive. Now Apple makes an adaptor for new iPads that use lightening and its a lightening to usb. I'm gonna take a run at it and use it on the phone with a 2.5' standard and a 2.5' SSD with the 5 volt to feed it the bus power and I'll post the results. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to leave some comments. Also the drive may have to be Fat 32 or OS X Journaled that may have a hand in it also. So long until the next update and I'll be sure to check back daily to see if anyone understands or has questions. Thanks

It is not a connection problem, but rather a software problem. Apple's Micro-USB to Lightning Adapter only works with charging your phone (or possibly syncing with iTunes), not to mention the iPhone is definitely more locked down as far as permissions go, so you would hit a wall with trying to get your phone to recognize the drive. So, if you would like a storage device that will be compatible with both USB and your iPhone 6+, you should take a look at something made for iOS devices, as well as (of course) having a USB port. They will undoubtedly be more expensive than your standard flash drive, but it is really your only option for physical storage on iOS devices, if you're not interested in cloud storage. One product I could recommend that would be compatible with both types of device would be this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sandisk-ixpand-64gb-usb-2-0-lightning-flash-drive-silver-black/1466007.p?id=1219498404480&skuId=1466007 It is definitely fairly pricey, but in your case, that will most likely be made up for in the simplicity it will bring with it. Oh, and one more thing: If you do decide to go with that product (or any other purchase from Best Buy), be sure to check Amazon's price for it before you buy: if it says "Ships and sold by Amazon.com," BB will honor that price. Good luck!
