“I have a Sonos Play:5 generation 1. It does NOT have any screw holes in the speaker to attach it to a stand. Will this stand work with Gen 1 Play 5?”

Yes it shall fit in. The speakers do not require holes for the bolts to go in. The speaker is kept on top of the stand

Yes, it will work. There are no screws for any Sonos speakers. Speakers simply sit on the stand, resting on the rubber knobby things.

Look for 4 plastic knobs on your speaker, those line up with holes on the stand. The stand wobbles, I wouldn’t recommend this product to an enemy. I love Sonos sound but the stand selection is horrible. Better off leaving your speaker on a self unless you are ready to replace them often.

Hello, To attach your Play 5 without a screw, you can safely set this up using command strips. Kathryn @SANUS

Yes. There are little knobs on the Play 5 that fit into the stand. The directions say use 3M Command tape. This is my greatest problem w this stand.
