QuestionCan this be mounted in metal studs?

- Answer I do commercial framing and I would not mount anything larger than a 42" TV to steel studs unless they are heavy gauge suds. I doubt the studs are. Framers could have put a backer between the studs for max support. Hope this helps.

QuestionThis is the suggested mount for the TV we have, per looking at Best Buy's website. However our TV manual says our TV needs a mount that has VESA 300x300, and that is not listed as compatible for this mount. Is it compatible?

- Answer If your tv is over 50 inches, the tv should work fine. The only caveat is if the tv is over 10 years old. What tv are you mounting?
