Yes I have this mount behind two different TVs with Apple TVs connected and can use the Remote with no problems.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! No need to worry, your Apple TV remote control pairs with the Apple TV over your Wi-Fi to control it. Unlike cable box remotes that need line of sight for the IR sensor to be read. I have all mine Apple TV’s mount behind my TV’s and no issue to include the new 4K Apple TV’s.
