A: Yes I have this mount behind two different TVs with Apple TVs connected and can use the Remote with no problems.
Q: How many devices will this hold effectively? I have a Genie Mini and a Fire TV box
A: I attached a large cable box and a Roku device to it with out any problems
Q: What is this thing and what does it do? Please?
A: This is a mount that attaches to your Sanus TV wall mount and allows you to hide a streaming box behind the TV. I personally put an Apple TV on it and mounted it behind my TV. That way I didn't have to run extra wires or find a place for the Apple TV to sit. The remote is wireless, so it works perfectly back there. Highly recommend it for a clean wall mounted TV setup with a streaming box.
A: It can be attached by screws and Spacers or directly to the TV mount. If the mount is design to accept this type of accessory.
