Hi David, The exact height can vary depending on the TV model, but in most cases the in-wall box is installed behind the TV, typically centered vertically between the top and bottom of the screen so it’s completely hidden once the TV is mounted. For a 55" TV, that usually places the box several inches above the bottom edge of the TV, depending on where the TV’s inputs are located and the mount you’re using. We recommend checking the input location on the back of your TV and aligning the box so cables can route cleanly without being bent or pinched. If you’d like help dialing in the placement for your specific TV and mount, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] or 1-800-359-5520. SANUS Support
