“The handles on my 6 knifes are made of wood. How you look after them? Can you put the knives in the dishwasher?”

• I'm not sure what knives you are using exactly but i would not recommend putting them in the dishwasher. I own Schmidt Bros 7Pc Black Knife Block Set and they recommend hand washing them only. I normally wash the knives right after use and dry and return them to the block.

• As with all fine cutlery, we recommend that you hand wash only - don't put your knives in the dishwasher. Gently wash them in warm water with a mild, non-abrasive cleaning detergent. This will prevent food acids from damaging your knives in any way. Then use a dry cloth or drying rack, and make sure that they’re thoroughly dry before returning them to your Schmidt Brothers Knife Block.
