They operate as a blue tooth device at a FM radio frequency that’s preselected. Power it up through your cars power source and plug player into it. Tune the radio to FM and set frequency you desire on device and radio, mine’s at 88.5. Sounds great, hope this helps!!

You can sync your phone via Bluetooth or with a direct audio cable. Then you can play whatever you have synced to the device or attached via audio cable through the speakers in your car. It is easy to set up and do. It also acts as a hand free device for phone calls. If someone calls you your phone will go to speaker and you can talk that way. You will hear them responding to you to the speakers of your car.

You turn your radio station to a static station or no station like 88.3 than your transmitter have to be on the same station. You plug your transmitter into your phone cell charger area. You must have pandora or utube music app downloaded on your cell phone so that music will stream to radio. The manual will guide you through. I love it.
