I didn’t use the suction cup because it hardware, including cameras, are not allowed under Washington State Law. Look it up for yourself at Washington/dot.gov.

A:AnswerThere’s a little piece on the front bottom of the mount that you lift and then you put the mount on the other piece, flip that switch back down to create suction. Works better if the two pieces are a little wet.
