It seems to me you could use it with a flip cover, as long as you're not too particular about the cover hanging down. Just stick the metal plate to the back of the phone/case and leave the flap hanging down. If you didn't want it to hang down, it would probably not be that feasible, as the magnet wouldn't likely stick well through the flap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t believe that it would be good for a flip cover phone!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this product on my apple 7plus with a lifeproof cover. Only limit you have is where you place it near your dash. You can angle this different ways, just play with it and you'll find what works for your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the case is soft or rubber, No it will be a movement disaster like an engine on a rubber mount But if case is firm and hard, no issues, throw a lil gorilla glue, and I mean only maybe two drops, then attach metal to case, do NOT use double stick tape, not only does it fail relatively quickly but the play it gives phone will be a vibrating nightmare, firm connection is best
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It is magnetic so would not matter as you use it in between cases and mount which allows it to hold.
