• No it won't. The PS3 uses 2.5" drives. This is a 3.5" drive.

• No, the Barracuda line of drives will not fit in a PS3. The Playstation 3 uses a 2½ inch drive that has a spindle speed of 5400 RPM. The Momentus line of drives will physically fit in the PS3. Please note: changing the drive prior to discussing with Sony may void the warranty on your Playstation. Seagate cannot support a drive installed in a PS3, nor can we assist with installation.
