- Answer Worked for me replacing a Barracuda. Understand, this is a SATA III drive. You need a motherboard with SATA ability. I used the SABRENT BK-HDDH bracket to mount it.

- Answer No it won't. The PS3 uses 2.5" drives. This is a 3.5" drive.

QuestionI have a Toshiba MJA2160BH laptop hard drive that I need to replace.I see other brands with larger gb storage, but there does'nt seem to be any identifying information as to whether Im getting the same style or physical size that would fit. For instance I see a Baracuda 1TB hard drive on line here SKU 8490625 for $139. would this fit my laptop

- Answer Laptops all use size 2.5. The Seagate model here is for Desktops and is size 3.5 .

- Answer Internal hard drives do not ship with any formatting as they may be used in a variety of systems. Formatting the drive for use with Windows 7 is fairly quick and painless through Disk Management. Additionally, Windows may even ask you if you want to format the drive upon first boot.

- Answer GPT is short for GUID Partition Table. The type of table is determined by what type of partitioning you choose. When installing Win7 onto a new hard drive, it will automatically create the necessary tables required. This hard drive is 100% compatible with Windows 7.

- Answer Yes, this is compatible with both Win7 64 & 32. The only compatibility issues that would present themselves with a hard drive are the form factor and connections available on your computer. This is a 3.5" form factor which is standard for majority of desktops, laptops have a smaller form factor. This requires a Sata connection (Narrow flat red connector), 8+ year old computers may use IDE ATA (PATA) 100/133 connectors (Wide flat ribbon cable).

Questionreplace hardrive for HP 2000-2c29WM?I was wondering if this will be able to replace my old hard drive in my HP2000-2c29WM laptop? I looked and the hard drive that it is using at the moment is ATA with 500 GB and is running on 5400 RM. I am not a tech person so I'm not sure which hard drive fto buy for my Laptop. I want something that have lots of space and is fast. Any suggestion would be fine. Thanks!!

- Answer This is for desktop don't think it will work only because the case is 3.5 for desktops and 2.5 for laptops just too big to fit!

- Answer This is a sata drive and the 570 has 4 sata connectors on the motherboard. So yes this drive could be used as a second storage drive.

- Answer Your laptop should handle a 1TB drive although I wouldn't suggest this one as it's for a desktop. You need a Laptop drive.

- Answer The Barracuda line of drives are 3.5 inch drives whereas the Momentus line of drives are 2.5 inch. While we don't have specs on all MacBook Pro products, you should be looking at 2.5 inch drives rather than 3.5 inch drives.

- Answer Our Seagate Barracuda 1TB drive is a 3Gb/s SATA drive and will work well with systems that support these kind of drives. You would want to verify that your 2002 Insignia computer accepts this kind of data interface first by contacting the computer manufacturer. Unfortunately we would not have this information here.

- Answer The Seagate Barracuda 1TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive is a SATA 3.0 Gb/sec interface, so the first thing you would want to confirm with Sony is what type of data interface your system uses. If it uses an older PATA or ATA style of drive, then this drive would not be compatible. Please verify with Sony first before purchasing this drive.
