This is a sata drive and the 570 has 4 sata connectors on the motherboard. So yes this drive could be used as a second storage drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/specs-dell-inspiron-570 it looks like your MB supports 4 SATA drives up to 3gb/sec. Same as my ASUS which is why I bought this drive. No problems, Been using it for about 2 weeks now. In my humble opinion, I would think it would work, although I'm no Dell professional. I would just check to make sure your power supply has enough power cables to support an extra drive rather than a replacement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer is a qualified yes. In addition to the drive you would need a power adapter (cable) to convert the molex power connector to SATA as well as a SATA data cable, which may or may not be included. This drive should be backward compatible to work with the older 3 GB transfer rate ok.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.THIS item will work with ANY desktop that supports SATA.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will work. You will need to format it once it is installed and after Windows has installed the drivers for it. You will then have a new drive letter to access it by.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your Dell uses an SATA connection, then it should work fine. I used it with my Dell Inspiron 530 to transfer data from a damaged drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I recommend "Paragon Backup 2014 Free edition".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using a Dell 430 right now but I replaced it with this new one. Can't see any reason a new disc won't work in your pc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should work in any desktop as long as you have room for a second drive in your case.
