Your laptop should handle a 1TB drive although I wouldn't suggest this one as it's for a desktop. You need a Laptop drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The sizes of the drives are different. You need a 3.5 inch drive. The desktop drive just wouldn't fit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You might need to update your BIOS if your laptop was made before 2004. If the laptop came with Win XP (pre-Service Pack 2) on the laptop, you'll might need to partition the drive before you reinstall your OS/clone your drive (one partition of ~280g) But that is a good thing. One partition for OS and one for data is a great way of recovering from any massive OS failure. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should work in its place.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it won't fit. Your best bet is to get an external hard drive. If you have to ask how to replace the hard drive you probably don't need to try and take your laptop apart.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. This is a 3.5" drive designed for a Desktop. You will need a 2.5" drive for your laptop.
