Dear Valued Seagate Customer, This reply is from Seagate Support. We would like to respond to your question about the compatibility of our Barracuda drive with your iMac. Generally speaking a drive will be compatible, provided the system it will be installed in has the matching interface connector. According to the information on Apple's website the drive should be compatible: http://ow.ly/9PXIK However, your system manufacturer has access to compatibility charts to verify that the model will work, so please contact Apple directly as well: http://www.apple.com/support/contact/ If you have any remaining questions or concerns, we would be happy to help using any of the support services we provide. Here is a web address with contact information should you wish to speak with a support representative directly. Our support is free of charge. http://ow.ly/4NgEf Best Regards, Seagate Support
