Worked for me replacing a Barracuda. Understand, this is a SATA III drive. You need a motherboard with SATA ability. I used the SABRENT BK-HDDH bracket to mount it.

Check the docs that came with it and the support area of the website of the manufacturer of the motherboard. Post a question to their community forum or their support area.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just coming back to say this drive worked like a charm. I had a second bay and just dropped this drive in that bay. Unplugged the old one and left it in. Took 15 minutes tops.
