The Seagate ST310005N1A1AS is 6Gb/s SATA and is backwards compatible with 3Gb/s SATA.

Not that it matters - SATA 6 (SATA III) is backwards compatible with SATA II and no traditional, platter hard drive like this can saturate SATA II transfer speeds. You're good to go whether your interface is II or III.
