• I believe it is SATA 3 (aka SATA II). Not that it matters - SATA 6 (SATA III) is backwards compatible with SATA II and no traditional, platter hard drive like this can saturate SATA II transfer speeds. You're good to go whether your interface is II or III.

• It is SATA2 (3Gbps). SATA3 is 6Gbps.

• It's the 3 which is currently the highest performance standard. The motherboard must support sata 3 or performance is reduced.
