• This is a desktop hard drive. It is a 3.5 inch full size hard drive. It will not fit in a laptop.

• No it will not work because the hard drive is meant for a desktop and will be too big to fit inside your laptop's current hard drive space. You can however, use it externally after formatting it to a MAC.

• The Seagate Barracuda 1TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive is a 3.5" drive for Desktop systems. We believe the Macbook Pro takes laptop size drives (2.5") but you would want to confirm this with Apple. • Nope, this is a desktop drive. For a Non Retina 2012 or older Macbook-pro you'll need a 2.5" SATA drive.

• no, this is a desktop harddrive which is too large to fit inside of a laptop. And in your case I would need to know a bit more info before recommending a drive to you. Do you know your model number and year? To get the model number you'll need to click the apple logo in the very top right of the screen and click about mac. If you have a newer one, and certainly if it's got a Retina display, you're unfortunately looking at a *very* expensive and unsupported upgrade as these units have proprietary SSD cards. Otherwise, and again it depends on model number, a standard 2.5" laptop HDD SSD or SSHD would work like a charm.
