• I installed this hard drive on an HP computer that is 4 years old. No problems encountered with either the installation or performance. My installation was as a replacement drive; so I don't know how it would perform if installed as a second hard drive

• What is the full model number? This looks to be an old system that takes IDE drives and not SATA drives.

• Need more info. There are a number of DSDT systems that were produced, with different clearance issues

• If you are talking about an old Presario, it's probably IDE/PATA, so no it won't work. You also should be running at least Windows 7.
