• Yes. The Seagate box indicates that the drive is backwards compatible to SATA II.

• Yes, it will work with SATA II. The SATA interface will auto-negotiate the speeds for you. No work on your end.

• Yes. This works up to 6 Gbps and is only limited by the motherboard transfer rate. This is fine.
