5400 and obvious that it's not a SSD. Look at the great price! Lol
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Other sites have it listed at 5900 RPM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a spinning disk with an rpm; you do not get a terabyte SSD for $150. Seagate does not state the rpm of the winchester disk part of the hybrid but asserts that the thru put is much faster which must be true (except for a huge block of sequential disk reads). I would imagine that the speed it is 5400 rpm as the real juice is the SSD and the predictive algorithm. Faster disk would just cost more and fail more often.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since SSD drives have no moving parts, it is neither. RPM stands for Revolutions Per Minute. This is how fast the platters are spinning in a traditional hard drive. SSD drives are all memory, like a USB key. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is neither 5400 or 7200RPM, it has no spindle, no moving parts. The data transfer rates are more than 10x the speed of a 5400 or 7200 drive. You WILL notice the speed difference. It is VASTLY faster in performance.
