Return it to Seagate for an exchange. It will cost you postage but they will send a refurb drive to replace. http://www.seagate.com/support/warranty-and-returns/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on what i've read when I bought my seagate, the warranty is through seagate. Not bestbuy. So you'd need to call Seagate support and go through their steps to get the warranty issues ironed out. Only way I've seen Bestbuy handle a warranty claim, is if you purchased their in store warranty with the item when you bought it. Hope that helps :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it were me, I would take the tower with the hard drive still in it AND the receipt into the Geek Squad at Best Buy and tell them what you just told me and see what they say.
