• That HDD is going to be a laptop HDD i had a PS3 one time and it had a 80Gb Toshiba laptop HDD in it

• If the size of your drive is 3.5 then a desktop serial ata will work, If the size is 2.5 then use a laptop hard drive.

• No. This will NOT work in a PS3. PS3's require NOTEBOOK size hard drives (also called 2.5" hard drives). This is a 3.5" or DESKTOP size hard drive. You would need a SATA (or Serial ATA) Notebook (or 2.5") hard drive.

• If it has a 3 1/2 inch sata hard drive it s.hould work. I don' know for sure as i'm not that familiar with the ps3.
