I have never had a problem with it on W10. I have two of them connected to my desktop at the same time. I use one of them for Windows 10 backup. The other is used to store files.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Windows 10 Home and Pro. It works fine on both editions of the client OS. I have two 8TB drives that I purchased from BestBuy.com after reading the reviews and debating for two days between the cheaper and size-equivalent Western Digital drives vs Seagate's newest model. The drive came pre-formatted with the NTFS file system which isn't recognized in Windows XP beyond 2 TB I believe. No problems here. That's why I bought two of them. One for the office workstation and my backups. Another for my home laptop and file downloads + system backups. Wouldn't steer you in the wrong direction or give you bad advice. Thank you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not know what his problem/situation is but I use my 8TB Hub Seagate external USB drive with Widows 10 and it works flawlessly. I plugged the other 8TB drive into the hub and now I can backup my archival drive to my new drive using only one USB computer port. So far I have no complaints and it's QUIET. If I didn't see the white LED power light on, I wouldn't even know that it's operating. Love it and highly recommend it.
