• Yes, this will work with USB 2.0, but will transfer data at the slower USB 2.0 rate.

• Yes, the USB 3.0 interface on the drive is backwards compatible with older USB 2 ports on the computer providing the OS will support the 8TB drive (XP or above normally).

• Yes, this drive will work with a USB 2.0 port. It will be a little bit slower transferring data, but you'll probably not notice the difference unless you have extremely large video files.
