Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Answering my own question: NO I bought the drives and tried it. It's easy enough to set up, but it does NOT create a mirror-image drive. Instead, it makes a mirror-image the first time it runs. Then, if you modify a file, it stores a second copy of that file, in a separate folder. Etc. I guess it may be able to recreate the original drive if you do a full restore. But, if you'd like to scan the backup (for reassurance that it's working OK, or if you'd like to find a specific file in the backup, good luck! I don't think this is acceptable, and plan to do most of my backups manually.
