- Answer About 3.0" w x 4.5" h x .5" d. Similar size to a small men's wallet. It would definitely fit in a typical safe deposit box.

- Answer Yes, you should be able to as long as both drives are plugged into the new machine. I used both Seagate and this HD and they both work on either Mac or Windows.
