QuestionCan I transfer photos and videos from a seagate drive which was connected to a Windows machine? I no longer have the windows machine and want to back up my data via my Mac products now.

- Answer Yes, you should be able to as long as both drives are plugged into the new machine. I used both Seagate and this HD and they both work on either Mac or Windows.

- Answer It should be but depending on the model Macbook, you might need a usb-c to usb-a adapter as some Apple products have done away with the usb-a format in favor of the faster usb-c. I had to get an adapter for my Mac- I have not had any issues with it and it was fairly reasonable price wise
