Is this drive backwards compatible to USB 2.0 ports ? null

Yes. Absolutely.\ Note: I have found some of these 4TB drives formatted for exFAT. I have had problems (in Win7 and Win10) with this format on these drives. I have deleted and partitioned and formatted for NTSF.
