• You can move any game from built in drive to this USB drive. Just not from another usb to this

• I did that with my xBox One and games run from there. I just moved them to the drive.

• this definitely worked on an XboxOne - I moved already downloaded games to the external drive and deleted them from the internal drive. I can still play them while the external drive is connected - it's as fast as the internal drive from a connection standpoint. I see no reason this wouldn't work on a PS4 as well. (note - you might need to continue to be subscribed to PSPlus or XBOX Gold if that's the nature of your question)
