A:AnswerThis is a portable hard drive so it is intended to be able to be removed and plugged into different consoles with all your games and saved data still intact. I've never tested this myself but I believe you should be fine just ejecting it from your current console and plugging it into the new one. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerIt gives you more space (2 TB) for your Xbox. Just plug it into the back usb slot on ur xbox and finish set up in your settings and your good to go.
A:AnswerNo, if the games are backwards compatible then they can be played directly on the xbox one. When switching from xbox one to 360, itll need to be reformatted.
A:AnswerI don't think they'll be able to fix it, you just might have to grab another one instead, just be a lil careful next time when handling one. That almost happens to me everytime I'm holding one, guess my hands are too big lol. Never hurt to just call up there and inquire if they can fix it. ~Bless
A:AnswerYes, this works on all Xbox One Consoles. I used it on the original Xbox one and transferred (plugged in) to my Xbox One X when I upgraded and all items were present and accounted for, and available to play instantly.
A:AnswerHard drives come in two basic sizes: 3.5" and 2.5". Laptops use 2.5" drives.
I can guarantee that the drive is not a 3.5" drive, because a 3.5" drive a) requires more power, b) is physically larger in all 3 dimensions than the external case of this drive. So it will be a 2.5" drive, which sounds like it would fit.
HOWEVER. Seagate sell a 2 TB 2.5" internal drive for the same retail price as this one. If you go with Western Digital, you would save another $5. And you don't have to worry about breaking something while taking apart the drive enclosure.
