• I have used the Personal Cloud with both Ubuntu and Mint. The way I access files is through the file manager. I have not tried any fancy like streaming music but I plan to soon. As I mention I use it most for backing up f Iles and pictures.

• Yes, just make sure you format it on Linux initially. NTFS should work on Linux as well.
