• Yes if you connect it to the USB port of a router and configure it using the provided router utilities. Simultaneous access by multiple users to the same data may cause contention issues.

• I don't see why it couldn't if you had it hooked up to your personal cloud. There is a wireless unit too. You might check that and see if it would be better for a network.

• Yes it can - we have ours locally on my wife's laptop and I'm able to access it from my laptop....you just have to set up the sharing and you're good to go.
