I believe the other answer to this question was answered from a very specific, overly technical, perspective. While its true that the actual HDD doesn't have WIFI, the device in question does list WIFI as one of its interface options. The hard drive is a small piece of the product but the product itself can connection via USB 3.0, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet. Here is the description on the product page: "With a 4TB capacity, this Seagate STCS4000100 external hard drive provides plenty of space to back up your files. The wireless LAN lets you access your personal Cloud from a wide range of mobile devices, and a USB interface enables simple connection." Hope that helps.

No, the harddrive does not have any Wifi connectivity built in.
