Not sure about this model of NAS, but I had a Seagate GoFlex NAS (until it died) where I had about 500G of iTunes music library stored. Had no problems with this configuration. Also have a Bose SoundTouch WIFI speaker that I would play my iTunes music over. No problems here either.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure about music for your iTunes, but I stream Movies through iTunes from Seagate to Macbook and that works great. Each is at the other end of the house. You have given me the idea though to try music also from Seagate. Right now I have an extra HD in my Macbook that I have the music for iTunes in plus most everything else keeping my SSD open for the Apps. and photos. I'm pretty sure your idea about music will work fine.

Still, I have a 120Gb music collection and it took over a day to populate. (some songs did have to convert from .wma format)
