There may be an app to use that will make it work similarly but this is basically an external hard drive that can be hooked up to your network as a standalone device. You can map it as another hard drive on your computer and drop files there.

If you have a computer connected to it and the computer goes to sleep then you will have problems connecting with the apps on the mobile devices so you can not leave your computer running all the time.
